apologies to dylan thomas
improvements to the below welcome! was just inspired by recent events....
Do not go gentle into this good night,
Young minds should burn and rave at close of eye;
Rage, rage against the resting of their sight.
Though wise babes at their best know nap is right,
Whilst their cries do fork much lightning they
Do not go gentle into this good night.
Good boys, the last wave by, crying how light
Their frail arms might have danced in a gym-play,
Rage, rage against the resting of their sight.
Wild kids, who're caught and sung and raised in flight,
And wail, too late, they grieve it on its way,
Do not go gentle into this good night.
Tired boys, near sleep, who see with blinding sight,
Teary eyes blaze like meteors yet are gay,
Rage, rage against the resting of their sight.
And you, my son, in your growth spurt plight,
Curse, bless me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into this good night.
Rage, rage against the resting of your sight.
