laura's colleague jane handed us down a johnny jump-up, which we put theo in yesterday - which is good, because i didn't have room to bring from virginia the one that tom gave to rachel, who gave it to me! he figured it out immediately! here's video of his inaugural flight, which, of course, got even cuter as soon as i turned off the camera.
