se llama llama

it was llama sunday at st john's!  the sunday school raised money for two llamas to be purchased through heifer international, and one of the parishioners brought llamas in for the kids to see.  church cutiepie emma shows them off here.  note the river bandits t-shirt she sports, which will hopefully be featured in a post before the summer's end!  

theo got in on the action.  the llama pictured below got really reeaaaaallllllly close to his face, and determining him to be a Human of Unusual Size, the llama huffed out a great big long snort of confusion and backed away.  theo, as is his way with large animals, acted utterly nonchalant.  (for instance: he's met a couple of horses who whinnied pretty stridently, shocking everyone but him!)
