top bunk

after mary's interment we went to warren dunes state park, a large park on the shores of lake michigan, which my dad had also wanted to see again.  he went there frequently when he visited my great-grandparents in three oaks, michigan.  we decided to try our hand at cabin camping, and i think we'd do it again, but since this time our culinary pretensions pretty much failed to launch, next time we might abandon that effort altogether and go the smores and tofu-pups route.  pictures of the park tomorrow, but here's a photo of theo tummy-timing on the diaper-changing bunk.  not to worry - he was always supervised, and with a nice wooden ridge to keep him up there (after we had removed the mattress to double up one of the others for sleeping).
